The Laurenskerk is within reach of public transport, as train, metro and tram will stop at station Blaak, at short walking distance. There is a wide range of parking garage in the immediate surroundings and you can use the P&R at the edge of the city.

Technique
For years BOS Event Support has been our exclusive partner for technical support for all events in the Laurenskerk. They are experts and know like no other how to handle sound amplification in the special acoustic of the church. Besides that, they can take care of the light and image at all events. From build and deconstruction, rigging, sound- , image –and camera control during your event. You can leave all your technical challenges in the capable and reliable hands of the staff members of BOS Event Support. BOS Event Support translates, connects and actualizes! Other technical parties are only permitted after expressed consent of the Laurenskerk and payment of a redemption value.

Catering
In the Laurenskerk the catering is provided by Van Linde Catering or de Swarte Leeuw. We can advise you what is best suited for your event. If you prefer to have your own catering partner it can be arranged in good consultation with our sales department, please know that there is a surcharge of 15%.

The Laurenskerk has, with Van der Linde Catering + Evenementen, since 2017 a renowed catering partner. High quality, reliability and excellent price/performance rate, flexibility, congenial approach and a typical Rotterdam approach; conditions our catering partner measures up to.
Whether it is a buffet, breakfast, a lunch or a served diner, Van der Linde takes care of it with appropriate decoration, a warm welcome and culinary completion of the customers wishes. From small and intimate meetings till gala diners with hundreds of guests, Van der Linde has the experience.

Swarte Leeuw
Ever since 2015 the Laurenskerk is provided with a terrace. The name is based on the former city brewery De Swarte Leeuw, at the time exploited by Dirck Janszoon Pesser (1885-1651), and his tombstone can still be found in one of the chapels in the Laurenskerk. The terrace or ’proeflokaal’ is exploited by Food for Thought, also active during interval sales at concerts or small receptions in the Laurenskerk.
Food for Thought represents young, dynamic, creative, innovative, wellbeing and second chances for people. With this young and enthusiastic partner Food for Thought, the culinary wishes of the customer can be tailored for.
