The ambience in this monumental building, which can accommodate parties of up to 1000, ensures an unforgettable experience for guests at your (gala) dinner. Its impressive decor includes chandeliers, imposing organs, beautifully-illuminated chapels, and museum furnishings. Whether it’s a walking dinner, buffet, or gala dinner, our in-house caterer Van der Line Catering + Events guarantee a first-rate culinary experience. However, if desired, your own caterer is welcome at the Laurenskerk.

The Laurenskerk is also suitable for both formal and casual celebrations, such as receptions, anniversaries, product presentations, award ceremonies, and parties. The space, which is suitable for parties of up to 2000, can be set up to provide the desired atmosphere for your event. We’re happy to take care of setup, including any technical aspects, on your behalf. We also provide high-quality catering at any level you require, whether it’s simple drinks and snacks or luxury fine dining. The space can accommodate up to 1500 guests.
Concerts
Monumental churches and music are inextricably linked. Music has played inside the walls of the Laurenskerk for centuries, which makes it the oldest concert hall in Rotterdam! City organists and musicians were playing concerts in the church as early as the Middle Ages. Trade fairs
With a floor space spanning more than 2,500m2, the Laurenskerk offers many options for your trade fair. The building’s vast appearance sets just the right atmosphere for visitors, and all the necessary equipment for your trade fair can easily be rolled onto the floor via the main entrance. The entire church is easy to heat and equipped with free WiFi. Electrical outlets are available throughout the building and extensions can be used if required. We provide custom catering solutions for your opening reception, visitors, networking drinks, and exhibitors, and we’re happy to help you develop a suitable concept for your trade fair!
