Leendert began to discover the instrument ‘organ’ at a very young age and this journey of discovery continues to this day. He studied at the conservatories of Rotterdam and Utrecht and has played many organ concerts at home and abroad. One of the highlights was the concert at Saint Pauls Cathedral London in September 2022. Leendert was winner of the International Martini Organ Competition Groningen 2022 and prize winner at various other competitions, including the International César Franck Competition in Haarlem. He works as an organist in the Maartenskerk in Zaltbommel and in the Reformed Congregation of Oudewater-Hekendorp.

Making the organ accessible to a wide audience, that is what has inspired Hayo Boerema for twenty years as an organist, teacher and composer. With his interpretations, he looks for contrasts and extremes in the compositions of both established and contemporary composers in order to captivate the traditional music lover and the more experimental music lover. His repertoire ranges from Sweelinck to contemporary music with plenty of room for Bach, Messiaen and French music from the 20th century. Hayo not only works as a soloist, but also regularly collaborates with choirs and instrumental ensembles
