We spend a lifetime building bridges to places where we started. And when we get there, we see everything with new eyes.

A Christmas concert with Herman van Veen and with Sara Leemans, Gaëtane Bouchez, Esmée Pieters, Britt Ottenhoff, Lieke Bax, Saranya Schaap and Edith Leerkes.
”At the time, I had to play the role of a Christmas ball in the annual Christmas play in primary school. Thought that was incredibly stupid. I did everything I could to be an elf, an angel, a camel or at least a sheep. After a lot of pushing, stamping and tears, we succeeded. Got four wings, two large and two small, made of taut net curtains in iron wire. A white suit made of yellowed pillowcases and cotton wool of artificial snow in my hair. Was allowed to float through the air with angels, singing ‘in the Glohohohohoria’. As it reverberated my child’s head disappeared into the clouds. Wish that singing about star and stable, myrrh, frankincense, gold, sheep, ox and donkey would never pass away.”
Ho ho ho.
In het koor van de Laurenskerk bouwen we een pijporgel van de toekomst, dat digitaal te bespelen is: een ‘hyperorgel’. Zo wordt het orgel toegankelijker voor een brede groep musici.
